Mrs. Edith Wilson, 74, who resided east of the city on US 136, died Saturday night in Bowles Convalescent Home. She was born in Knoxville, Tenn Feb 10, 1892, a daughter of John and VIola Harris Carrell. She married Alvin Wilson Feb 10, 1929. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include the husband; three brothers, Roy Carrell of Crawfordsville, Clayton Carrell of Shannondale and Leslie Carrell of Alamo and two sisters, Miss Edith (sic) Carrell and Miss Clara Carrell both of near Garfield. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Milo Riggs officiating. Burial in Wesley Cemetery.
